Bookworm Mondays: March Book Haul

I ended up making a Book Outlet order while they had the sale going on for 15% off in addition to free shipping. I ended up getting about 15 books from there. Almost all were to go toward my reading challenges. But, let’s just get into it!

I apologize that this post won’t be linked at all. I got busy last week between work and reading. I didn’t get to do this post ahead of time. I will be working on Wednesdays today or tomorrow. Again, I apologize.

But, before I get into that, I want to mention the book I got in the March OwlCrate. We ended up getting Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. I hadn’t heard of this book before getting it but since then, I’ve learned a bit more about it. I like to go into books mostly blind so I’m not spoiling anything so I won’t give too many summaries about what these books are about.

In the Book Outlet order, I ended up accidentally ordering The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Adhieh. Which wouldn’t have been a mistake, but I already owned it! I get it confused with An Ember in the Ashes for some reason and I meant to get that but nope! I’m going to probably end up giving it to a friend.

I also got Push Girl by Chelsie Hill and Jessica Love. I ended up getting this book for Diversity Bingo. It is, obviously, about a girl in a wheelchair.

I saw Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys on Book Outlet and I just had to have it. I’ve heard such wonderful things about this book that I wanted to read it no matter what.

Of course, because of the movie, I had to get Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. I have been wanting to read this book but I just never felt the want to buy it just yet until the movie trailer came out. It just made me even more excited to read it.

I ended up buying In Order To Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom by Yeonmi Park. I’ve heard great things about this woman and how strong she is. I can’t wait to get into this book.

I ended up buying Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. As soon as I saw this on Book Outlet, I knew I just had to get it. I needed to read this book. I’m very excited to finally have and finally be able to break into it. I may read it on a weekend just so I can go through it quickly without having to put it down.

I was kind of iffy about getting Every Day by David Levithan. I want to read it but at the same time, I’m unsure how I’ll feel about it. So, I just decided to pick it up and I’ll see how it goes.

I have been wanting to read To All The Boys I’ve Loved by Jenny Han. I’m really excited for this book. I think that it’ll be a quick and easy read.

I was kind of iffy about getting Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour just because I feel like I’ve been hearing mixed things about this book. I feel like a lot of people gave it three or four stars. But I think it’ll be a quick and easy read.

I’m super excited to read Blindsided by Priscilla Cummings. I have been wanting to read a book with a blind main character. I think it would be an interesting perspective. If I remember correctly, the MC in this book doesn’t start off blind but it’ll still be interesting to me.

So, these next two books are a part of a series. But, they are the fourth and fifth of that series. I found Empire of Storms and Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas. I don’t plan on starting this book for a little while so I have time to get the rest but I knew that I wanted to read this series so I figured I might as well get it.

I also got Scarlet, Cress, and Fairest by Marissa Meyer to finish off what I plan on reading of the Lunar Chronicles. I read Cinder and loved it so I’m really excited to finish off this series.

That’s it! That’s the end, finally. This was a quick and easy post of mine but it had to be done! I love book hauls but I haven’t done one in a while. So, here is a decent one!

I hope you enjoyed! What books did you buy this month? Which should I read first?

Happy reading!
