Rapid Fire Book Tag

I’m not sure where this tag originated but I’ve seen it going around BookTube and I figured I would do it. Since I’m writing this ahead of time since I want to focus on my reading during Tome Topple (even though this is going up before it starts), some of the answers may change. I’m not sure what they all were. In case you didn’t know, you’re supposed to answer these with short answers. I think it’s only supposed to be one/two word answers but hey. Some need explaining. But let’s just get into this!

  1. eBooks or Physical books?
Physical. I will read eBooks but I would prefer to have the physical book in my hands. The only books that I’d prefer eBooks for is manga/comics. They are just easier to read and a heck of a lot cheaper.
  2. Paperback or Hard Cover?
Um. Hard cover mostly. Except Harry Potter. I don’t know why.
  3. Online or In Store Shopping?
Online. It’s cheaper and I don’t like having to deal with people.
  4. Trilogies or Series?
Series for books I love. The more I can get of them the better. But trilogies are more appealing when looking at what I have left.
  5. Heroes or Villians?
Villians if they’re done correctly. For example, Joker. I love him. Not a romantic love. I just love how messed up he is. His whole story intrigues me.
  6. A Book You Want Everyone To Read?
I haven’t read it but The Hate U Give. It’s a new release and everyone who’s read it and people that I trust the opinions of recommend it to everyone. The topic makes me agree.
  7. Recommend an underrated book.
    Um, I haven’t read any?
  8. The Last book You Finished.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
  9. Weirdest Thing You Used As A Bookmark?
    My son’s arm/leg while he’s sleeping
  10. Used books, yes or no?
Yes but I would prefer not to.
  11. Top Three Favorite Genres
    Romance, Fantasy, Crime Fiction
  12. Borrow or Buy?
    Buy
  13. Characters or Plot?
This is a tough one for me. I could probably overlook a bad plot, though. If the characters suck, I don’t think I could get through it.
  14. Short or Long Books?
Long. They seem to be thought out better in general.
  15. Long or Short Chapters?
Short. I usually read on my 15 minute breaks or on the ride home. I feel better leaving off at the end of a chapter rather than in the middle of one.
  16. Name the First Three Books You Think Of
Harry Potter, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Lunar Chronicle (Technically all series but hey)
  17. Books That Make You Laugh or Cry?
Cry. If a book can make me legit cry, it means I connected to it. Anything can make me laugh.
  18. Our World or Fictional World?
    Fictional.
  19. Do You Ever Judge A Book By Its Cover?
If you try to claim you don’t, you’re lying.
  20. Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptation?
If it’s a series, TV. If it’s a Trilogy or under, Movie.
  21. Series or Standalone?
Series. I connect better. In case you haven’t realized, I like books that I connect to.

I tag JessicaMarie493 because she’s the only one I communicate with a decent amount!
