10 Authors I Want To Read (More From)

I ended up stealing this idea from Super Space Chick on YouTube. She posted a video the other day about it and I decided to do it also! I’m going to go with authors I own books of first! I’m also including authors I’ve read one book/series from that caused me to want to read more from that author.

  1. Nicola Yoon
I have heard great things about Nicola Yoon’s writing and I haven’t read any of her books yet. I want to start with Everything, Everything.
  2. Ruta Sepetys
I want to start with Salt to the Sea. I have heard so many good things about her books. I definitely want to read more historical fiction and I feel like Ruta Sepetys is a good place to start.
  3. Leigh Bardugo
I’m currently reading Shadow and Bone but I look forward to getting to the Six of Crows duology. I’m not enjoying Shadow and Bone as much as I wish I was. It’s just falling really flat for me. But I still have hope for the rest of the series and Six of Crows.
  4. Patricia Cornwell
I read one of Patricia Cornwell’s books back when I took a Crime Fiction class in college and I remember enjoying what I read from it. I do look forward to getting into more of her books.
  5. Morgan Matson
I read Since You’ve Been Gone and I thoroughly enjoyed it and connected with it on a whole new level. I can’t wait to read more from her. I started reading Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour.
  6. Agatha Christie
Between the Crime Fiction class I took and Doctor Who, I’m pumped to read more from Agatha Christie. From what I know, she’s what, the “Queen of Crime.” Or something like that.
  7. Gillian Flynn
I absolutely LOVED Dark Places. Pretty much everything about it. I just need to read more by Gillian Flynn.
  8. Kerri Maniscalco
She may only have one book out but guess what. I have the second preordered. I have since they announced the title. Kerri Maniscalco will always be an auto-buy author for me.
  9. Marissa Meyer
I’ve read Heartless and Cinder. I loved both. I can’t wait to finish the Lunar Chronicles.
  10. Sarah J Maas
Yup. If you’ve seen anything I’ve posted since starting to read ACOMAF, you’d know that I adore Sarah J Maas’ writing. I just can’t wait to get into Throne of Glass. Then in May cracking open ACOWAR.

Thanks for reading! That’s all I’ve got. Who’s your favorite author? Happy Reading!
