Most Anticipated Releases: Aug-Sept

Hi guys!

I was debating between doing this for just books or for TV shows also. I’ll take a look at what’s being released in August and September and decide from there.

I have the titles of each book linked to the GoodReads pages if you want a synopsis. I have each photo linked to Amazon if you would like to preorder them. Just know that if you’re preordering a book through Amazon, the money won’t be taken out until it’s shipped. Don’t quote me on that, but that’s how it’s been for all the things I’ve preordered.

I’m sure that a lot of these aren’t going to be surprising to you but that’s alright.

Let’s just get into this!

Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

wonder woman warbringer

All I know about this book is that it’s about Wonder Woman. I have never been a huge fan of Wonder Woman and I have not enjoyed the Shadow and Bone trilogy so far (I’m currently reading Ruin and Rising). But that doesn’t mean I’m not interested in this. It’s going to be nice to read something that’s not in the Grisha world from Leigh and a book that’s about a comic book hero! This comes out August 29th.

One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake

I haven’t gotten around to finishing Three Dark Crowns yet but the concept of it was so interesting that I’m excited to see where it goes. I’m hoping to finish it before this book comes out! This comes out September 19th.

Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows

I started reading Incarnate by Jodi Meadows and I wasn’t enjoying it. I want to give it another shot before completely throwing in the towel but that’s another conversation. I want to read more from her because the writing wasn’t the issue for me. I want to see where she goes with this. And I know she mentioned dragons and yup. I’m all for that. This book comes out September 12th.

All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis

I’m very intrigued to know how this book is going to go. It’s about words/actions costing money and I’m curious about it. This book comes out August 29th.

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco

Now this is the book I’m the most excited for. I’ve been anticipating this since I read the book back in October 2016. I need this book now!

So just doing the book portion of this seemed to take forever so I decided to just leave it at my most anticipated books. I hope you enjoyed and let me know if you are looking forward to any of these! Or if you got ARCs, your spoiler free thoughts (and let me know if you have a review up so I can check it out)!

Happy Reading!

  1. All Rights Reserved does seem very intriguing! The Wonder Woman book has me curious as well. I’ve always been big comic book fan, but very rarely did I ever read Wonder Woman’s exclusive title. I’d see her often in the Justice League comic, so I’ve seen her do some pretty awesome things. Plus, I really liked Six of Crows, so I may end up reading that.

    1. I haven’t read Six of Crows yet! I’m reading Ruin and Rising right now and just ordered Six of Crows so I can get into it whenever I want.

    1. I’ve heard people say it’s slow so I’m waiting until I’m in the right mindset. I want to read it before ODT comes out though.
