Hey everyone! Welcome back and if you’re new, I’m Amanda from A Court of Books and Love!
Today I have the End of the Year Book Tag!
I saw this on Chelsea’s channel from ChelseaDollingReads and you can watch it here!
This was originally created by Ariel Bissett and you can watch her video here.
Some Videos I Love!
1. Are there any books that you started this year that you need to finish?
The Girl in 6E by AR Torre. I ended up putting this book down for some reason. I don’t even know why. I was loving it while I was reading it. I just think something else came along that I had to read first.
2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
Scythe by Neal Shusterman. I like reading fantasy during the fall/winter so I’m hoping that this book will be a good transition.
3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco. I recently heard about Dear Martin and I’m excited for that.
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
I need to finish It by Stephen King, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, and A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin.
5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. It won’t be my favorite but I’m hoping it’ll be top 5!
6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?
I have! I have 3 planned definitely but I’m not going to spoil them but I will talk about the one I’m trying to fine out the details of.
I would like to limit my buying and read books I’ve had for the longest. I have been doing book haul revisits and TBR revisits.
I need to read 3 books that I’ve had for the longest then I can read 1 book I’ve gotten within the last 3 months.
And for every 5 books read from my shelves, I can buy 1 book. Whenever I complete all of the books in a haul AND a TBR, I will be able to buy books from Book Outlet.
So that’s it! I hope you enjoyed. Let me know what goals you have been thinking about for 2018!
Happy Reading! Bye!
