Top 10 Books I Want To Read This Fall

Hey everyone! Welcome back and if you’re new, I’m Amanda from A Court of Books and Love!

Today I have ten of the books I would like to read this Fall.

This list is in no particular order and may end up changing at some point. But as of right now, these are the 10 books I want to read this Fall.

1. Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco

I have had this book preordered since January 2017. It came out yesterday and I couldn’t be more excited that I’m getting my copy today. That being said, I think I’m going to save it for October to read. So no spoilers.

2.  It by Stephen King

I decided to buy this book on a whim after seeing this magnificent cover. I had never had a plan of reading any Stephen King but as soon as I got this book, I knew I just had to. Then I ended up watching a video someone posted on YouTube and I got even more excited about more of his books. So this will be my first King novel and we’ll see how I feel after the over 1000 pages of this. I plan on reading this in October and switching between physically reading and the audiobook.

3. Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I will be reading these two along with Melissa over at The Written Adventure in (hopefully) November! (Yes I know I was holding the card upside down)

4. The Girl in 6E by AR Torre

I started reading this book but ended up having to put it down for something else. I can’t wait to get back into this!

5. When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

I’ve been wanting to read this book since it came out. I’m hopefully going to get to it in November for Contemporaryathon.

6. Night Film by Marisha Pessl

I don’t really have anything to say about this. I just know that it’s dark and perfect for Halloween time.

7. Scythe by Neal Shusterman

8. Bad Romance by Heather Demetrios

9. The Book of Ivy by Amy Engel

I ended up getting this book from Jessica from JessicaMarie493! Thank you so much Jessica! I love you girl!

10. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

This is one book that I NEED to get to. It’s one of the ones that everyone should read at least once in their lifetime. I’m ready to cry my eyes out.

So that’s it for this post! I hope you enjoyed! Let me know a book that you plan on reading this fall!

  1. So many books on here that I want to read ASAP as well! Except for IT.. That one can wait until the days aren’t shortening, but lengthening, haha. I’m too easily freaked out to read that one on short, dark days. Noooo thank you!

When Dimple Met Rishi is also on my TBR; and The Book Thief is one I’ve finally gotten my hands on so I’ll have to see when I’m going to read it. So many boooks!

    Enjoy reading! ^-^

    1. Let me know if you want to buddy read any of these! I’m always up for buddy reading! ❤️
I’m so nervous about It. I’m so easily scared. I was listening to these videos on YouTube that are just scary stories that “really” happened. And like they’re ghost stories and stuff. But it’s the ones of like people being stalked or the ones that are like “realistic” (I believe in ghosts but that’s the best way to explain it 😂) scared the crap out of me. One was focused on being hacked and holy crap. Scared the crap out of me.

      1. I read at night all the time. I usually do most of my reading at night at work. I do need to get a chair for reading though. I can’t read in bed. I end up falling asleep every time xD

      2. So glad I’m not the only one having that problem, haha! I can even be reading the best book ever and still fall asleep for some reason.. It’s so frustrating because lying down while reading feels good, but then again.. I don’t want to risk falling asleep.. xD

    1. I was working on rereading Stalking Jack the Ripper but I wasn’t in the mindset so I just put it down. Thankfully I’ve already read it once and remember, like, everything that happened. But I’m both excited and scared to get into It. It’s going to scare the pants off of me.

    1. I can’t wait to get into either of these. And the more I see people commenting on them, the more excited I’m getting! I kept looking at Night Film and kept telling myself I’d get to it soon. Now I really will get to it soon! I WILL read it in the fall!

    1. I’ve heard mixed things about it. I do want to get to it though. I was supposed to read it in August for a book club and just didn’t end up getting to it. So it’s on here for the fall!
