Hey everyone! Welcome back and if you’re new I’m Amanda from A Court of Books and Love!
Today I have the Rapid Fire Book Tag… Again!
Let’s get into this!
This tag was created by GirlReading!
Here’s some other people who have done it!
Booktubers under 100 subs!
If you know anyone who has done this tag or if you’ve done it yourself, leave a link down below and I’ll add you to the list!
I’m not tagging anyone because I’m being lazy. Oops. If you’re reading this, do it.
1. e-Book or Physical book?
Physical book! I like ebooks for adult romance but even then, I don’t usually read them.
2. Paperback or Hardback?
HARDCOVER!!! Yesss! All the way. I love hardcover books so much more.
3. Online or in-store Book Shopping?
Online. I don’t like dealing with people and I have more time to debate between the books. It is less of a chance of me impulse buying.
4. Trilogies or Series?
Ummm. Trilogies. Series mainly just seem to drag on for me.
5. Heroes or Villians?
Villians. They are so much more interesting.
6. A book you want everyone to read?
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Alway. I mean, I’m spending an 8 week course in school focusing on writing a persuasive essay to get young adults to read THUG.
7. Recommend an underrated book?
Caraval by Stephanie Garber. A lot of people don’t like this book or just don’t give it a shot because of the bad things they’ve heard. I went into it with low expectations and ended up loving it!
8. The last book you finished?
Alex Approximately by Jenn Bennett.
9. The last book you bought?
Ummm. A lot? I placed an order with Book Outlet. But as a little sneak peek to that, one of the books I got was The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.
10. Weirdest thing you’ve used as a bookmark?
My son’s butt. I had to text someone back so I flipped the book over an laid it flat on his butt while he was sleeping on me. Tis the life of a reading mother.
11. Used books: yes or no?
Yes! I don’t mind using used books.
12. Top three favorite genres?
Contemporary, fantasy, and romance?
13. Borrow or buy?
Buy. I like to own my books.
14. Characters or plot?
Both? I need a good mix of both. Sometimes I want more character driven books or plot driven books. But I, at least, need a fair balance.
15. Long or short books?
Depends on my mood. Generally, I like shorter books. Not too short but I’m always intimidated by tomes.
16. Long or short chapters?
Short. I like being able to read short chapters in short times.
17. Name the first three books you think of…
It by Stephen King
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales (I have no idea where this one came from. I haven’t read it yet xD)
18. Books that make you laugh or cry?
Both. I want a book that can make me laugh but also ball my eyes out.
19. Our world or fictional worlds?
Um, have you been under a rock? Fictional worlds. This world is garbage.
20. Audiobooks: yes or no?
Do you see my wrap ups? 100% yes to audiobooks. I adore them.
21. Do you ever judge a book by it’s cover?
Every time. I’m not going to lie.
22. Book to move or book to TV adaptations?
TV. I like TV more than movies in general.
23. A movie or TV-show you preferred to it’s book?
Full Metal Alchemist. I prefer the anime more. There’s more feeling in the anime than the manga to me.
24. Series or stand alones?
Series. There’s more anticipation if they are done correctly.
That’s it! That was quick! Hope you all enjoyed.
Let me know the last book you bought!
Happy Reading! Bye!
